Damned surprise!!

Last day of school! Booya. After a stinking last day at school Norman, Brandon and the girls(Regina, Melissa, Sara,Sara's sis, Hajar) plus me went to the newly opened UNIQLO betol2 opposite of Pavillian. Apperently, they are having a major sale. Not that I, as a guy really cares bout that ;) I know the girls had an awesome time cause me and norman, being gentlemans paid all their expenses including food-No, thats not the surprise -_-

I bought an awesome jacket and some turtlenecks, and brandon ad norman the same. Norman had to save up coz he is blanjaying the girls. anyway fast forward to the shocking part. There we were, sitting in a cozy restaurant eating expensive sushi when suddenly my handphone rang. The caller ID flashed Tuan's name over and over longing for somebody to pick it up. After i did, my heart skipped a beat when she uttered those depressing words; Amnah's missing...

At first I thought she was joking as I could never fathom anything bad happening to a talented and always cheerful girl like Amnah. I'll tell you how talented she is, she can totally hit a high note in a Christina Aguilera song no problem and as proof she won 1st place for SAB singing com. Congrats to her!! I can't begin to tell you how great she is. It's her certain hyperness, loudness and smile that somehow just makes your day.

I could go on forever bout her but back to the story:D So after i realized she ain't joking I asked how could this have happened?! She said Amnah's mom called her saying she's nowhere to be found. That's all the info i got, and the Pavillian gang and I have to find her. She means a lot to all of us as a good friend and companion. All we got is her parents no. and the address to her so called boyfriend, useful no?

I broke the news to the gang and the atmosphere changed dramatically. Soon everybody was taking out their handphones, making endless phone calls to anybody who might know her whereabouts. Norman even called a 'special friend' who can track down handphones; superspy right? we did our absolute best but to no avail. Fearing the worst, all of us prayed for her safety together. worried to the brim, some of us even shed a tear :(

But I've got to say the most touching part was when I called her mother to ask for Amnah's address. I wasn't expecting much until i was stunned by how caring and worried her mother's tone was. It just breaks my heart to hear her i that condition. She never stopped asking where amnah was, never loosing hope, hope for a miracle. The love of a mother was so much it took me a total of 5 whole minutes just to calm her down. At this point we are really hoping she would just reply our calls.

After 7 hours of her being lost, and when we were still working our ass off to locate her i got another call from the mother. three words just made all our days worthwhile; 'We found her'. Our creased face immediately brightened up!! although our dinner was left untouched, we felt full. Full of relief and happiness!!

People, our friends will go to great lengths to help you in dire situations. so treasure them.
Family, our parents, siblings will never lose hope and their love can move mountains.
Let's face it. life's hard to live without Amnah. Her smile and Happy-go-lucky attitude can make any gloom day brighten up. I don't know bout you, but i'm happy :)

I learnt an important lesson that day, anything can happen at any time specially now. there are evil people out there. I later realized we prayed at the right time/masa afdal coz at that time the rombongan haji was at padang arafah. So, believe in god never loose faith, Alhamdulillah. Be thankful of what you have, live every moment like it's your last. Cause it may very well be your last...
